Alcy Education Solutions, LLC (AlcyEd.) was established in 2017 by Managing Principal Jacqueline Johnson. Alcy Ed. provides strategic visioning and targeted on-going support for schools, instructional leaders, and teachers, for the purpose of creating free-thinking citizens throughout our public school pipeline.

 

Alcy Ed. was founded in Jacqueline’s Great-great grandmother’s name, Alcy Mooney Bridges, who had no formal education but charged her family to use education as a vehicle to advance each generation and create legacy. It is on this legacy that we have built our passion and commitment to children and the communities they live in.

 

Our educational philosophy is multilayered as it reflects the multitude of stakeholders surrounding the children in the seats. With an acute focus on students, we consider where our society is moving in order to inform how students are prepared for their future. When looking at teaching practitioners who are the skill and knowledge builders for our students, we consider what our educators must be willing to adapt in order to serve the students' needs. Finally, when assessing policies and programs that govern our education system, we consider how their rigid posture often thwarts the growth of the student and teacher layers. We must push thinking forward enough to push the barriers away for students. 

 

We must prepare humans to "learn how to learn" beyond boundaries other's shortsightedness might impose. 

 

We constantly reflect on what, how, and to what degree we are helping our students develop the competencies necessary for being thriving individuals capable of contributing to the collective leadership of a global society. It is with this purpose and passion that Alcy Education Solutions, L.L.C. does this work.
